Indonesian astronomers have conducted an in-depth study of the open cluster NGC 6134, situated in the constellation Norma. This research provides insights into the cluster's characteristics.
The study, published on June 23 on the preprint server arXiv, estimates that NGC 6134 is approximately 1.38 billion years old.
Notable features of the cluster include a core, a tidal tail, and a diffuse halo, contributing to our understanding of its structure and evolution.
